2 Corinthians 9:7-8 says, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

God through His Son has greatly blessed us and therefore we joyfully seek to bless others. Giving our tithes and offerings is a way for us to tangibly communicate our love for Christ (we follow His example of sacrificial giving) and our love for others (donations support the cause of Christ both here and around the world).
